Best and comfortable eyepiece magnifier i using

Most of the people have eyepiece magnifier. Because of Sony din produce such thing, so our alpha mount with Nikon, Canon, Pentax, and Olympus.
But perfect fit only Nikon DK-21m and Pentax O-ME53, other than dat, there are need to DIY ti mount in, Nikon DK17m, Canon EP-EX15, Olympus ME-1

According to the price, line up from expensive to cheapest: Olympus ME-1 RM180, Nikon DK-17m RM130, Canon EP-EX15 RM100, Pentax O-ME53 RM125, Nikon DK-21m RM88.
The Best quality it's Olympus ME-1 and nikon DK17m..... and of coz the price... expensive and need to DIY in order to fit in alpha.

Well, since i have modified ME-1, when i used it i found out kinda pain for my eye lip every time i used it, so i decide to modify an eyecup for it. Unfortunately Olympus EP-2 eyecup was old and hard to find in current market coz it only for Olympus E-1. So at last i get a DK-19 rubber eyecup from Nikon, It's not suit but i can modify it yet again... :twisted: :twisted: During the modification, i found out Nikon DK-19 rubber eyecup made by top grade rubber material, therefore impossible for just stick it because it will come off again.... So I decided to BURN it :twisted: !! In order to make sure it secure, i melt the corner of the eyecup with fill some special glue to stick it well.

Until today, I have exchange my another extra ME-1 with Nikon DK-17m and yet again modified with same way as my ME-1.
Nikon DK-17m attached with alpha 100 and Olympus ME-1 place on the bottom.
Both was the best and comfortable eyepiece magnifier i ever used. Greatly helpful for my Focusing Screen to focus.

1st time organize photo shooting

1st time organize a photo shooting, apologize for the ratio of 6:1 instead of 4:1 due to another model absent last minute. :cry: thanks to all photographer to cooperate very well with model tracy. Here's the shots of in progress.

Visit of Nikonian

Last day of 2008, follow my brother accompany by his friend pay a visit a Dato's open house at Seri Kembangan. He is an architect which he design his house was amazing! karaoke stage, theater, hotel standard kitchen, swimming pool,and etc.

Thanks to Dato, i play and test the ultimate full frame D3 and D700, and of coz with some of the pretty good lense 85mm f1.4 and 50mm f1.4.

His house full of LCD TV and Hi-end projecter.

the theater sound system and projector are simply better than cinema which we always watch.

1st time macro shooting

2009 New year 1st outing. 1st time experience macro shooting and ended up bad experience by leech attack!!!

woke up late due to last day of 2008 on a Dato's house opening which i follow my brother accompany by his fren.

Not much shots because those leech crawling all over my shoes and beg me for blood donation. Humid weather makes leech active and more come out for food or just they waiting for us......

Difference compare mosquito and leech it's leech suck more blood than mosquito!! Thus there will be keep bleeding on the wound after they satisfy their hunger and of cause the wound bigger than a needle mouth of mosquito!!!

I dun have a proper macro lens like tamron sp90 or minolta 100mm macro or some of them using Raynox macro filter. Instead of buying those expensive just for macro shots. I decide to use my carl zeiss m42 3.5/135 stick front element of 200mm unitor with tape!!! hehehe.... it works!!

a long time in the jungle border but lesser bugs around and i think because of 1st day of 2009 and those bugs sure sleep very late during the new year eve for countdown......
