before go back to launceston after Bruny Island, we headed MONA, the renew art museum in Hobart.
The museum was located at under the ground. therefore we need to go in underground. The thick rusted metal sheet as fence of the building, it is very rare for use of metal decorate in Malaysia.
new building attached along the MONA site,
metal sheet was weld together align of the border of site,
blue sky, rusted brown fence and people..
the entrance foyer of Mona,
step down into the heart of art.
one of the entrance covered with glass and lighting projected into the space.
a>
double volume space to put on large amount of art piece on the wall.
cloud car in the exhibition space. all downlight projected the car to be highlighted
huge bottom level from entrance into the space, the stone texture wall create the sense of mystery.
walk down into the double volume space, the wooden decking floor and the grid concrete roof divide by the volume in between.
highlighted staircase and grided concrete ceiling
stone or coal in the middle of the space, can it consider an art!?
big space for big art piece to be exhibit.

the funky interior spaces, looks like the playing of circulation and space in between.
the emperor's chair!?
ancient artifact in this deserted cold area!? counterfeit art piece.....
china artifact now huh!?
my favorite art piece
the space in between, weird circulation, weird lighting
large art piece of cause using a huge elevator.
brutalism looks alike with wooden decoration
really can't understand art....
white library
going down the cave space... bar in the cave!?
narrow triple volume space..
water writing device in the cave space...
long shutter light painting
starry night...

staring at the nite.
the truck stuck in the corridor
the tunnel to the last travel

Bruny Island trip
I was invited by classmate to Bruny Island during the Easter Break. 6 guys and 3 girls total 9 people drive two cars to the destination. We depart from Launceston around 8.30pm and went to Hobart for stock up. Then roughly 30mins drive to reach the Kettering ferry point.
the ferry to take us to Bruny Island
The clear beach along the Island, no pollution for this outcast paradise.
those classmates busy taking photoz....
enormous view when driving around the Island. the perfect view- land n sea.
reach a light house point with huge green field.
same view but with 400mm to the lighthouse without ED glass. low saturate and low contrast.
the cliff.... natural creation
the green field show how natural preserve is...
all those 'photographer' show their profession
the beauty of mother nature, don't know how much time the nature left?
green, blue and people
on the way to lighthouse
more complete view to see the seashore surrounded by the hills
blue sky, clearly contrast with land n lighthouse natural dynamic range
snap the flare from the mountain view
if swim to this direction, you will found south pole.
camera wants to squeeze in the view
the grass, the sun and the view.... = natural architectural mesh
We go for our last viewpoint of the day,
up and up.... you will see...
to the beach!?
nope... just to famous point : the neck
landscape view for wider context
then we head back to dinner, after dinner i went out for the more clearer star chase~!
the awesome night, feel like closer to the galaxy....
just simply shoot outside from the cabin, too bad a700 noise control blend with the stars.....
